When was Suwon’s first win? ‘Relegation Crisis’ A more disastrous start than last year

The dream of rebuilding a prestigious family that Suwon Samsung promised is facing a crisis as soon as this season begins.

Suwon has yet to win after the 5th round of the K League 1스포츠토토. With 2 draws and 3 losses, only 2 points were accumulated, leaving them in 11th place out of 12 teams.

The waiting schedule is not easy, but it is urgent to pierce the blood through the first win. Suwon’s next opponent is Ulsan Hyundai, the ‘defending champion’ who is running at the top with 5 consecutive wins. Afterwards, they face Jeju United, who are at the bottom of the table, and then face off against FC Seoul and Pohang Steelers in turn. Except for Jeju, all of them were ranked at the top.

The rebound does not come by itself. As director Lee Byung-geun said at the press conference, only by “putting heads together” and finding a way to overcome the current bleak situation can the reconstruction of the famous family be realized. 

In the case of the last 2017 season, it was only 10th after completing the 5th round, but it finished in 3rd place by accumulating points one by one. The only way to get back the angry fan spirit is grades.
