A tornado swept through northeast China, injuring 13 people and destroying 70 homes.

A tornado triggered by strong convective weather swept through some rural areas in northeast China’s Liaoning province, according to local media먹튀검증, including China Central Television (CCTV).

The tornado injured at least 13 people and displaced more than 200 others, with 70 houses collapsing and 300 hectares of agricultural land damaged.

The local municipality has deployed firefighters and others to provide disaster relief.

Local media reported that this is the second time a tornado has caused direct damage in 2019, when a tornado struck the city of Kaiyuan in China’s Liaoning province, killing six people and injuring more than 190.
