Coach Jurgen Klinsmann has completed all European inspections.
Korea (27th in FIFA rankings) succeeded in advancing to the round of 16 at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Coach Paulo Bento, who led the national team for four years, left and coach Klinsman took over. In March, they held a launch ceremony against Colombia (ranked 17th in FIFA rankings, 2-2 draw) at Munsu World Cup Stadium in Ulsan, and against Uruguay (ranked 16th in FIFA rankings, lost 1-2) at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
