A-lim Kim (28) took the lead alone in the second round of the Chevron Championship, the first major tournament this year on the LPGA Tour토토사이트.
In the second round of the tournament held at The Club Carleton Woods (par 72) in Woodlands, Texas, USA on the 21st (Korean time), Kim A-rim hit 8 birdies and 1 bogey and recorded 7 under par 65 strokes.
Kim A-lim, who shot her interim total of 8 under par 136, climbs to the lead and challenges her second LPGA Tour career win. Kim A-rim, who won the US Women’s Open in a major tournament in December 2020, aims for the top in about two years and four months.
Kim A-lim said, “Today’s green was soft and her overall speed was slow, so she could hit aggressively, so she seems to have recorded 7 under par. The rain made it a little easier for me,” she said.
Lilia Bu and Megan Kang (above USA) tied for second place with a 7-under-par 137 strokes. World No. 2 Nellie Corda (USA) tied for 4th with a 6 under par 138 strokes.
Kim Hyo-joo (28) is tied for 10th with an interim total of 4 under par and 140 strokes.
Choi Woon-jeong (33), who had been in second place the previous day, lost one stroke in the second round and tied for 17th place with a 3-under-par 141 strokes. Ji Eun-hee (37) and Choi Hye-jin (24) also tied for 17th and are looking to enter the top 10.
Meanwhile, some players were unable to complete the second round due to bad weather.
