Cho Hyun-min (18)스포츠토토, third baseman in the third year of Chungam High School, achieved a cycling hit.
Cho Hyun-min started as the 5th hitter in the first half of the 2023 High School Baseball Weekend League (Seoul Area A) Eunpyeong-gu BC held at Mokdong Baseball Stadium in Seoul on the 15th, hitting a triple in the 1st inning, hit in the 4th, home run in the 5th, and then hit a double. Completed a cycling hit. Thanks to the performance of Cho Hyun-min, who recorded 5 hits in 5 at-bats (1 home run) and 5 RBIs, Chungam High School won the 7th cold game victory over Eunpyeong-gu BC, 25-4.
At the end of the first inning, Cho Hyun-min hit a triple in right field and hit a heavy hit at the end of the fourth inning. In the bottom of the 5th inning, he hit a home run over the right wall and a double through left center, setting a record.
After the game, Cho Hyun-min said, “First of all, I am happy to have achieved a great record. After the 5th inning home run, I was conscious of a cycling hit, but rather, I relaxed and entered the next at-bat and came up with a good result. The batting did not go well, but the coach and coach did well. He helped me a lot by attracting me and always emphasizing my concentration.”
Then, he expressed his aspirations, saying, “I had an unsatisfactory result in the Shinsegae E-Mart Cup competition, but all of the Chungam High School players are gritting their teeth and working hard in training. I will try to repay the coach with a victory in the next competition.”
Meanwhile, the Korea Baseball Softball Association said, “A special award will be given to Cho Hyeon-min from Chungam High School at the awards ceremony to be held by region after the end of the weekend league.
