It was supposed to be the type of trip that legends are made of. Jana Rajchl and her friend Maria Stanley had made the trip across Alligator Alley and up Interstate 75 from Plantation to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa. While at the casino, Rajchl won a jackpot of $30,000.
Had the story ended there, it would have been written as a fairytale, with an ending that all magical feel-good stories are made of. Instead, it turned into the type of ending that only Steven King could conjure up, only this time, it happened in real life to Rajchl. 메이저놀이터
The $30,000 jackpot winner left the casino in Tampa with Stanley and headed back towards Plantation. Along the way, the two decided to stop for a rest break at the Miromar Outlets in Estero. The trip had already been over an hour long, and Rajchl and Stanley left the rest stop after buying coffee at Starbucks.
When the two friends arrived back at the car, they noticed that one of the tires had a flat. They called AAA, and while waiting, Rajchl, 54, says that a man with braces approached them several times to ask if they needed any help. They refused the help, and when the mechanic arrived, he began changing the tire.
A few minutes later, the man with the braces was seen running away from Rajchl’s car. The robber got away with Rajchl’s purse, which carried the $30,000 in winnings. Authorities were called to the scene, and ironically, they believe the jackpot and the robbery were a coincidence.
Police are now looking for the man, who jumped into a white Nissan Altima, but they have yet to find the criminal. Stanley made an attempt to run after the man as he fled the scene, but to no avail.
In addition to the flat tire, police found damage to the lock on the driver’s side door. Rajchl reiterated her claim to police that she did not think she was followed after winning the jackpot.
