’46 men – 44 women’ final decision’ KOVO foreign player tryout

The players who will participate in the 2023 KOVO foreign player tryout organized by the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) have been finalized.
The Korea Volleyball Federation said, “The KOVO tryout, which was held in Toronto, Canada in 2019 and was conducted non-face-to-face for the past three seasons, will be held on May 6-8 (men’s division) and May 11-13 (women’s division온라인바카라) this year in Turkey, Istanbul. Among the 86 male and 55 female tryout applicants received from February 20th to March 28th, the club evaluated the top 40 male and female players on the final list. The final 46 men’s and 44 women’s players, including players who applied for tryouts among players who were active in the league, will participate.
In this tryout, players who have been active in the V-League and various players who have served in the national team threw a challenge on the Korean stage. In the men’s division, familiar faces such as Yosbani Hernandez (2018-2019 OK Financial Group, 2019-2020 Hyundai Capital, 2020-2021 Korean Air) and Groser (2015-2016 Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance) knocked on the door of the V-League once again. , Igor Bogachev, who played an active part in the German national team, and José Masso (Cuba), who are receiving a lot of attention from men’s clubs, will participate. In addition, seven players from the African continent, including Kenya, Tunisia, and Uganda, will participate.
In the women’s division, Catbell, who won the championship MVP by leading Korea Expressway Corporation to the championship this season, and Yelena of Heungkuk Life Insurance, who swallowed the disappointment of runner-up, expressed their intention to try again. New challengers such as Palma Dalira, former member of the Cuban national team, and Vanja Savic, former member of the Serbian national team, will participate.
On the other hand, the order of nomination rights is determined by lottery after being given marbles based on the final results of the last season. For men, 7th Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance 35, 6th KB Insurance 30, 5th OK Financial Group 25, 4th Woori Card 20, 3rd KEPCO 15, 2nd Hyundai Capital 10, 1st Daehan Aviation 5 marbles are given.
For women, 7th Pepper Savings Bank beads 35, 6th IBK Industrial Bank 30, 5th GS Caltex 25, 4th KGC Ginseng Corporation 20, 3rd Hyundai E&C 15, 2nd Heungkuk Life Insurance 10, 1st Receive 5 marbles from Korea Expressway Corporation.
For the tryout, the draft will be held on May 8th for the men’s division and the 13th for the women’s division after three days of practice matches and meetings for invited players.
